NEMESIS HOSTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Smoking, alcohol and Narcotic consumption is strictly prohibited in and around the Hostel premises.
- Cleanliness must be obtained. The student shall keep their rooms, verandah and surrounding areas tidy, neat and clean at all times and shall not throw anything including rubbish, in such places or any premises in the hostel, except in the dustbin or the place specifically provided for the said purpose
- Students must turn off all the electrical equipment and lights before leaving their rooms.
- Silence. Strict silence shall be observed in the hostel from 11.00pm to 5.30am. Care should be taken at all times to ensure that music/loud talking is NOT audible outside the room.
- Every morning, ensure all of the doors and windows in the room are open to improve airflow. Even without fans, open doors allow fresher air in and in fumes and stale air out. Ensure before putting your gas on, your room is well ventilated i.e. making sure your doors and windows are open
- Students are prohibited from writing slogans or any writings obscene drawings on the hostel walls and rooms.
- The student shall not bring any extra furniture or other fixture in the room.
- The student shall not bring and/or keep any pets in the premises including fish, cats, dogs, and so on.
- Take care of the hostel property (All furniture, sanitizer dispensers, automatic temperature screener, and fire extinguishers etc.) and fixture in the rooms allocated the student must be cared for properly. Any damage shall result in hasty penalty or even termination of residence.
- Observe hygiene. (Wearing mask when leaving your room, regular cleaning of hands and social distance).
- There shall not be more than two persons in a room, Congregating should be limited.
- There may be change in hostel rules from time to time for smooth running of the hostels. Any change in hostel rules will be notified by the hostel warden beforehand.
