This programme provides transformative education about the theory and practice of social work and community development in a global context. Trainees develop a critical understanding of global social issues such as social exclusion, poverty, environmental degradation, and disasters. Since its inception the college has graduated social workers who have made a positive impact in the lives of the individuals, families and communities around the world. Graduates secure employment opportunities in International and Local non-governmental organizations, government institutions, hospitals, privately owned organizations dealing with social and community development.
Holders of a certificate in social work and community development can advance their studies to a diploma level in the same field.
